Sadly, August ended with the loss of Aretha Franklin “the queen of soul”. Aretha Franklin had always been a very conscious artist, an inspiration, not just an entertainer. She shared her points of view from the stage for challenged people, rights to register to vote, to stand up for decency. Aretha a dynamic, strong, independent woman always lived her life to the fullest. She was an activist, she wasn’t afraid to stand up for what she believed in.
During 1967 she recorded “Respect” She said “It [reflected] the need of a nation, the need of the average man and woman in the street, the businessman, the mother, the fireman, the teacher—everyone wanted respect,” Aretha believed we should use our natural gifts to the fullest and said:
"Being a singer is a natural gift. It means I'm using to the highest degree possible the gift that God gave me to use. I'm happy with that."

Well for all you wonderful people I am giving you the heads up of an exciting new workshop I will be co-facilitating with my friend Jane Innis, life coach hypnotherapist, vibrational essence therapist and creator of Peace & Love Healing. It's a fabulous workshop based around Vision Boarding. But not just your usual cutting and pasting your 'want list'. In this one day workshop we will be:
Connecting with our Purpose
Aligning with your visual board
Allowing this to manifest
Set intentions and achieve goals
Stepping into the life you want to manifest
This workshop will be held on a Saturday, probably late Oct /early Nov. At the moment we are looking at venues so want to get an idea of interest.
But that's not all. Before the workshop day you will also get a free soul purpose reading with me (worth £40), should you be unsure of your direction. This will be before the workshop so that you have time to think about the reading and bring the details with you on the day. There will be visualisations, exercises to do before joining and after the day to help you focus and clear your mind.
